Orchard Academy Trust Priorities
Leadership and Management
Local Governance in our schools is well informed and supports accurate and perceptive self-evaluation.
Senior leadership ensures the recruitment and retention of high-quality staff.
The high-quality appraisal process is embedded so that every member of staff feels valued and well supported to excel at their job.
Attainment and progress
We aspire for the attainment and progress of all the pupils in our schools to be above the national average.
Quality of Teaching
Every teacher is ‘Good’ and aspires to be ‘Outstanding’. Ensure that best practice is shared across the schools.
Behaviour and Safety of pupils
There is an intolerance of bullying across the schools so that every pupil feels safe and happy. Pupils are nurtured and feel valued; they are encouraged to become responsible, independent people, who develop a positive sense of responsibility and self-discipline.
Safeguarding
Orchard Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all its pupils.
Premises and Resources
Provide and maintain a safe and comfortable working environment, conducive to the pupils’ learning and teacher performance. Ensure adequate resources are available to facilitate that learning.
Value for Money
Ensure that each school is well supported and adequately resourced to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils.
Please see individual schools’ development plans for more detail on how they will meet these priorities.
